Abstract

Stiff systems of differential equations are difficult to solve numerically when using classic methods because of very small integration step that has to be used. It is the aim of this work to evaluate the possibilities of the stiff systems being solved by the Taylor series method. Another problem is to determine an optimal integration step and number of Taylor terms to be used for the calculation.
