Abstract

This document deals with presentation of characteristic properties of living body, which can be used for liveness testing in fingerprint sensors. These properties can be split into three categories: intrinsic properties, involuntarily generated signals and a response to a stimulus. This overview will be extended by analysis, software implementation and sensor proposal of new liveness testing method.
