Abstract

This paper presents a new approach to road estimation in occupancy grid.In comparison with other published approaches, the presented method is notrestrictive in shape considerations of the road and, therefore, is able to dealwith very complex road shapes. To achieve such property, the polygonalrepresentation is utilized.
