Models of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
object-oriented analysis and design, Mainstream Objects methodology, object structure model, business process modelling, transaction sequence modelling, use case model
While object orientation is becoming more popular, it is still only used by a minority of the software community if it is considered in the context of the entire software development process or life cycle. Most of what goes on in object-oriented projects is object-oriented programming. The paper deals with modelling techniques used during object-oriented analysis and design. Classification of techniques is adopted from a methodology called Mainstream Objects. Object structure modelling and business process and transaction sequence modelling are discussed in more details in the paper.
