Abstract
The paper evaluates a new concurrent, functional programming language Yona. Specific focus is placed on the asynchronous IO aspects of this language and its current implementation. The evaluation in the later chapter serves as the demonstration of Yonas capabilities, and it helps to set the direction of further research and development in this language by identifying significant bottlenecks.
