Abstract

This paper deals with present identification systems based on a possible relation between biometric identification and smart cards. The fingerprints belong to the human biometric attributes. They are very popular nowadays. In this paper are mentioned some sensors for fingerprint acquirement, short description of fingerprint analysis and storage of minutiae on a smart card.
