The bioreactor is designed for cultivation and monitoring of algal phenotypes. Within the device it is possible to regulate the temperature of the culture and thus further influence the development of algae. The device also allows the exchange of the measuring module fitted on the side of the device. The basic configuration includes a fluorometer to measure the OJIP curve and spectral density. A further extension module should include an emission spectrometer. As a further extension, additional peristaltic pumps can be attached through which nutrient dosing can be implemented within the cultivator cycles.
