CADWORK is a software company developing 3D-CAD/CAM systems. Specifically for civil
engineers, building contractors, and timber companies. In software development, we work in the
following areas:

• Native desktop application development.
• Development of algorithms capable of displaying large CAD models, optimizing GPU rendering.
• Separate web platform for data sharing and visualization running in browsers, desktop, and mobile, capable of communication with survey devices (Leica total station). WebGLtechnology, model streaming, and VR/AR development.
• Export of models to automatic robotic saws and CNC machines.

Cadwork Informatik CI AG was founded in 1989 with its headquarters in Switzerland. Its main development centers are in Germany, Switzerland, and Brno. The Brno branch was founded in 2006 and since then has maintained close relations with the Faculty of Information Technology. A common center of interest is developing and researching computer graphics and visualization of 3D models.
Nowadays we also branch out to web services and cloud applications.
