How to apply

First step Nomination
Ask your mobility coordinator to nominate you
- by 31 May for winter semester or the full year
- by 15 November for summer semester
The nomination is to be done by sending an e-mail including name of the student, the student's e-mail address and the required period of study in Brno to studena@fit.vut.cz

Second step E-Application
Complete the E-application
- by 31 May for winter semester or the full year
- by 15 November for summer semester

Third step Documents
Deliver all the required documents
- by 15 June for winter semester or the full year
- by 30 November for summer semester
Once the learning agreement has been approved the students must print the E-application protocol and the Learning Agreement from their E-application, sign the forms and have them signed and stamped by their institutional representative. Finally, they have to send them, together with the other application materials mentioned below, to studena@fit.vut.cz.
These are the required application materials:
- Application form (E-application protocol)
- Learning Agreement (printed from the BUT E-application)
- Photo labelled in the format SURNAME_Name.jpg (e-mail to studena@fit.vut.cz)
- Transcript of records
The FIT BUT does not require hard copies of these documents, however, if your institution does, please send us the originals for signing.

Fourth step Accomodation
Arrange your accommodation simultaneously with submission of the application.
Students can apply for accommodation in BUT dormitories by completing the on-line Request for Accommodation . Students who have to apply for a visa are strongly recommended to arrange their accommodation well in advance, as confirmation of accommodation forms an integral part of their visa application procedure.
