System ScanEduTool, didactic instrument for education of scan technique principles

ScanEduTool is a software system designed for education of scan technique principles. Following actions can be performed in the system (using a teaching digital circuit):

• testability analysis
• application of a user-selected scan layout and testability analysis of the resulting design
• searching of a scan layout that satisfies user design constraints and is characterized by high level of testability
• observation of an impact of user-selected scan layout to an occurence of feedback loops in circuit data paths
• displaying diagnosis paths for selected circuit element and stepping the flow of diagnostics data through these paths
• viewing detailed testability information of an actual design
• all information and processes are highly illustrated
