Key learning outcomes

Students will understand all the layers of the computer based systems including hardware (semiconductor components, logic networks, processors, peripheral devices), software (control and data structures, object orientation, programming languages, compilers, operating systems, databases), as well as their common applications (information systems, computer networks, artificial intelligence, computer graphics and multimedia). They will understand foundations of computer science (discrete mathematics, formal languages and their models, spectral analysis of signals, modelling and simulation). Graduates will be able to analyse, design, implement, test, and maintain common computer applications. They will be able to work efficiently in teams.

Státní zkouška programu Informační technologie a umělá inteligence, specializace Strojové učení se skládá z částí:

  • prezentace a obhajoba zpracované diplomové práce,
  • ústní zkoušky, která sdružuje základní tematické okruhy obsažené v předmětech profilujícího základu z oblasti Informačních technologií a umělé inteligence (Teoretická informatika, Statistika a pravděpodobnost, Architektury výpočetních systémů, Umělá inteligence a strojové učení, Ukládání a příprava dat, Funkcionální a logické programování, Paralelní a distribuované algoritmy, Moderní trendy informatiky),
  • ústní zkoušky, která sdružuje základní tematické okruhy obsažené v předmětech profilujícího základu z oblasti Informační systémy a databáze (Soft Computing, Biologií inspirované počítání, Bayesovské modely pro strojové učení, Konvoluční neuronové sítě, Strojové učení a rozpoznávání, Lineární algebra).

Všechny části státní zkoušky se konají ve stejném termínu před komisí pro státní zkoušky. Ke státní zkoušce může přistoupit student, který získal potřebný počet kreditů v předepsané skladbě nutný pro úspěšné ukončení magisterského studia a odevzdal diplomovou práci v řádném termínu. Organizace a průběh státní zkoušky jsou dány odpovídající vnitřní normou fakulty a příslušnými pokyny garanta programu ke státním zkouškám.
