ITTe Acad. year 2018/2019 Winter semester 5 credits

Current academic year

Students will receive an individual project specification from various areas of information technology. Students work individually under supervision of skilled leaders. Students will proceed as follows: Problem analysis, solution, verification, implementation and others. The course is successfully completed with student's oral presentation of the project study-stage results in front of the supervisor or the faculty board established by the supervisor.

Learning objectives

The fundamental goal of this course is an introduction into an individual creative student work during the technical project solving and its formal description.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Wide knowledge of information technology basics.

Progress assessment

Continuous consultations with the project supervisor.
Exam prerequisites:
A successful defence of the project study-stage and other results of work according to the assignment for winter semester.
If this course is enrolled standalone (without IBTe), it is mandatory to hand in technical report. The extent of technical report must be at least 20 standard pages (usually 30 - 40, no more than 50).
