Abstract

Distributed Acoustic Sensing allows localized acquisition of phenomena along optical fibers, including human speech. However, signals recorded in real infrastructures are typically extremely noisy. We propose a post-processing strategy combining information from individual spatial segments of the fiber to increase the intelligibility of captured speech.
