Identification of Defects in Materials Using EIT
Dědková Jarmila, prof. Ing., CSc., UTEE (FEEC)
Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) is a soft-field tomography modality, where images of the electrical conductivity distribution in a volume can be reconstructed from voltage measurement captured on its boundaries. We propose the modification of new techniques formulation for recovering continuous surface conductivity distribution using EIT, which will be suitable for the reconstruction of conductivity distribution of porous or spongy structures. The methods like these are very useful in non-destructive testing and identifications of the material defects like cracks in special structures called honeycombs.
Inverse problems, surface parameter estimation, regularization, non-destructive testing
