Abstract
We propose a new formulation for recovering continuous surface conductivity distribution using electric impedance tomography (EIT). The proposed method is suitable for the reconstruction of conductivity distribution of porous or spongy structures. The surface conductivity is defined from the nodal values of the finite element grid. To recover these values we use Least Squares (LS) and the Total Variation Primal Dual Interior Point Method (PD-IPM). Furthermore, we compare the results obtained by the PD-IPM algorithm and the Generalized Tikhonov Regularization Method (GTRM).
