Abstract

The article is focused on utilization of NetFlow data for networksecurity. It briefly outlines pros and cons of several types of networkprobes. The rest of the article is dedicated to utilization of NetFlowdata for revealing P2P networks, scanning, DoS attacks, QoS,accounting. It concludes with ethical view point on using NetFlow fornetwork traffic monitoring.
