Abstract

Thisarticle is dealing with problems of 3D geometrical modeling of human tissuesbased on medical image data, namely CT and MR data. Input CT/MRdata are classified as discrete volume data describing structure of scannedvolume. Therefore tissues segmentation is necessary to apply to the data. Geometricalvector based tissues models are described their boundary. To create them isnecessary to apply vectorization process on segmented CT/MR data. Resultedgeometrical models it is possible to apply for virtual applications or for realtissues models manufacturing. Their applications are: surgeries navigations andsimulations, geometrical analysis, doctors training etc.
