Abstract

Currently, knowledge management in area of information systems is widely
mentioned concept. But how concretely to acquire them, apply them properly, and
is it even possible to measure its benefit? The paper is focused in these
questions. There are discussed possibilities of acquiring and applying knowledge
in ERP systems deployment, possible ways of its classification, and correction
aiming to a knowledge base that supports information system development and
evolution with respect to customers business goals. Several practical examples is
used to demonstrate the most important problems of these processes and their
possible solution. Procedures and supporting tools are introduced and our
experience from their use in practice presented in the paper.
