Annotation
This paper analyses the capabilities of using wavelet power spectrum for classification of spectra of Be stars. We propose a method of using the wavelet power spectrum as a feature vector and apply it to clustering of artificial spectra. The method is compared with a traditional approach of feature extraction and the results of our method are significantly better.
