Abstract

Today even for Linux we have several tools that enable in idfferentways and for different purpose inspect internals of OS kernel inruntime. It can include advanced debugging of user application or thekernel itself or gathering of statistical inormation for kerneloptimalization. These days we can hear lot about Solaris' new DTracetool. This article brings overwiev of possibilities and way of useageof simillar tools for Linux.
