Abstract

This article is dealing with problems of automatic creating of multitissuesFEM models of living human tissues from CT/MR data. The solution is connectedto grant project GA~106/98/K019 and GP 201/01/D141. Sources of geometric andstructure information of the tissues are Computer tomography (CT) and Magneticresonance (MR). Results are text files with coordinates of nodes and indexesof tetrahedral FEM elements. The files is possible to import to ANSYS FEMsystem. We have developed computer system for automatic creating of singletissue FEM model from CT/MR data. Actually we are working on changes of oursystem from single tissue to multitissues FEM models.
