Abstract

This paper focuses on pixel-based usability guidelines and their use for an
information dashboard user interface. The first part of the paper examines
existing usability design advices, presents existing pixel-based metrics and make
suggestions of new ones. The second part presents results of pixel-based analyses
performed on two groups of well-designed dashboards and randomly chosen
dashboards. Results of these two groups are compared and their differences are
discussed.
