Safe and Secure Traffic Systems with Advanced Technology

The goal of the project is to create new road traffic monitoring systems with
advanced technologies to ensure greater safety. The increase in safety consists
of new functions both in sensors built in, especially cameras that are part of
transport systems, and in cloud (server) systems that process data from cameras
and other sensors. The new functions mainly consist of new procedures for the
detection of various types of objects in transport (especially vehicles of
various types and other objects relevant to transport), in cloud (server) systems
it is then about locating vehicles, monitoring their type, number, movement and
identification based on registration signs and other visual features, as well as
predicting their movement and intervals between vehicles (or other
traffic-relevant data as needed by users). Another goal is to improve the
security of the entire connected system of cameras and servers and to ensure the
authenticity of the data.
