Principal goals of the project are based on the intention to bring new scientific achievements in the area of digital circuits with intrinsic reconfiguration. Furthermore, the research effort will be also focused on confirmation of hypothesis that certain cathegory of problems, which employs the solution with multifunctional logic circuit, exhibit better properties (in terms of cost parameters, physical dimensions, power consumption, computational power or combination of these) when the multifunctional building blocks are designed and produced through the alternative modern technology of semiconductor structures manufacturing, i.e. organic semiconductor materials or nanostructures. In order to prove validity of the hypothesis specified above an in-depth research and subsequent proposal of novel solutions within three main fields closely associated with semiconductor materials, which can be recognized as suitable class of applications, convenient multifunctional logic elements and sophisticated design flow and synthesis methods, will be conducted.
