Stereometry, 3D Geometry, Epipolar Geometry, Image Processing.
The project is focusing on stereovision, reconstruction of 3D structures from 2D
images and direct capture of scenes into stereoformat. It also deals with
preparation of teaching materials and demonstration tools. Outcomes of the
project will be used in three master degree courses, concretely Image Processing
(ZPO), Computer Vision (POV) and Computational Geometry (VGE), which was newly
created at the Department of Computer Graphics and Multimedia. Subjects of these
courses cover image data acquisition and image processing, 3D surface
reconstruction and also theoretic knowledge of 3D geometry. The main goal of this
project is to create conditions for enhancement of theoretical as well as
practical education of stereometry.
