Abstract

The grant project is about development in area of creating FEM models of human tissues. It is submitted on the basis of real and practice needs of interdisciplinar science discipline "Biomechanics of man", which is work at computational modelling ofhumantissues. Modern medicine diagnostics methods: Computer tomography (CT) and Magnetic resonance (MR), are main source of basic input information about geometry and structure of human tissues for creating their FEM models. Main goal of the project isto develop methods and algorithms for full automatic creating of FEM models of tissues based on CT/MR data. The project is related to dissertation work of proponent of the project and evolves the work Expected results of the project are the group ofcomputer programs, which will implement developed methods and will support all process from taking CT/MR data to creating FEM models.
