Abstract

The project had these goals: 1. Mathematical analysis of SDM and its variants
including the influence of values of individual memory parameters on their
behaviour. 2. Development of programming tools enabling verification of
conclusions of mathematical analysis and tools for behavioural simulation of SDM.
3. Modification of SDM for parallel hardware implementation including the
demonstration of ability to run in parallel on transputers. 4. Development of
a universal educational program demonstrating the principle and behaviour of SDM.
5. Proposal of suitable fields for SDM applications and development of simple
applications.
